Today, my antivirus spammed me with several notifications of trojan horse. I am not usually the type that gets viruses or even trojan horses. So I ran all full system scans, but it came up with nothing. Even loading my so broken vista boot, I get the same message. Did I really get a really bad trojan?

At the same time, CS:S wouldn’t launch. Currently unavailable? The game played fined yesterday. Four hours later, stumped to why my fav game wouldn’t launch and getting multiple trojan horses, I find a helpful post on the steam forums. I wasn’t alone and somehow, it wasn’t CS:S but it was my antivirus? Launching CS:S activates some script that my antivirus believes is a trojan horse.

Unfortunately there isn’t a permanent fix, other than deactivating scripts or antivirus during launch. So no trojan horse after all eh?
